Shuhei Yoshida of Playstation fame is leaving the company in January of 2025. Mortal Kombat 1's future plans for DLC apparently get cancelled after poor sales of previous DLC while Casey Hudson's studio Humanoid Origin shuts down and lays off staff in mid-development of their original Sci-Fi RPG. Sony is apparently working on a portable Playstation 5 which will be years away.
